Roboblocks #4

In this photo I realized that to get to tier 2 you need to buy upgrade your car. Everything has a specific level. On screen the tier 2 turret has 32 level power.

In this photo I am using thrusters for the first time. Unfortunately it is way harder to control with thrusters.

In this photo i demonstrate the two different types of turrets( there are way more but those are the first two you can buy). The higher the tier the more the damage. That is how this whole game works.

Today I learned thrusters are a pain. You should have the thruster pointing backwards that way you may move quicker. I am looking forward to getting hover blades and being able to fly away. Nick taught me all about them. I learned that the turrets that are supposed to go in the front shouldn't go on the top and vise versa.

Roboblocks #3

Today I started playing battle mode and the goal of battle mode is to destroy the core as seen in the picture. You may also kill the opposing team but the main goal is to destroy the core.

This was the result in the first game. I lost but it gave me a sense of what to do. A good strategy is to stick together because there are a lot of people who have RIDICULOUS vehicles. The more of you there is the better chance you have.

In this photo you see all the parts you may but but you need to be a certain tier for certain things. Unfortunately for me I am not in a high tier so i can't have as good material to protect myself.

What I learned today was how to play battle mode without dying horribly. I also learned the more you buy the higher the tier you are. I learned that if you join someone's platoon(party for roboblocks) you can not play together unless you are in the same tier.

Roboblocks #2

These are the controls, I changed them because the mouse controls was opposite to what i'm used to. To change these hit the ESCAPE key then click controls, then scroll down to find the controls you wish to change.

I learned that the turrets need to be spaced apart a certain number of blocks. I kept exploding in battle mode so I changed my idea so it is more aerodynamic and the weight distribution is way lighter so it is more agile.

These are the different types of blocks you start out with. Once you gain levels you may buy some more blocks to make a different type of vehicle.

Today I learned that I have a lot to learn about this game. I learned you need to fortify your ship as best as possible because in battle mode everything just flies off your vehicle and you are left with nothing. I'm now getting the hang of this game so I can become more advanced next time.

Roboblocks #1

This is my original robo to try and understand the physics of roboblocks.

A quick problem i found is that i could not turn very well, so i was stuck in situations like this.

I've learned that the reason i could not turn very well was because my original was too heavy so it wouldn't allow me to turn quickly. So i changed the design a little bit . Some advice I would give would be to make the weight even all around because once it's too heavy it will go out of control, but don't make it too light either or else you will flip over all the time. So find a middle ground. the F KEY = turn yourself upright if you've fallen. Right Click = place block and left click = get rid of block. If you've played minecraft it's the opposite of placing and breaking blocks.
