Davy Crockett




Davy Crockett was a 19th century american folk hero,frontiersman, soldier and politician. Crockett became famous in his own lifetime for larger than life exploits popularized by stage plays and almanacs. Crockett was voted congress and opposed president Andrew Jackson for the Indian removal act. Crockett lost the next election but won again in 1835 prompting to his departure to Texas. In Texas Davy Crockett died in the battle of the Alamo.
