Minecraft Alamo Day 5

I have finished the wall on the right of the first picture and in the second added some fire so it looks like its been attacked. I added the Alamo writing just because it looks cool. I have now finished my Minecraft Alamo.

In these two photos i finish off the front section and began doing the front of the Alamo which is located right after the front section.

Davy Crockett

Davy Crockett was a 19th century american folk hero,frontiersman, soldier and politician. Crockett became famous in his own lifetime for larger than life exploits popularized by stage plays and almanacs. Crockett was voted congress and opposed president Andrew Jackson for the Indian removal act. Crockett lost the next election but won again in 1835 prompting to his departure to Texas. In Texas Davy Crockett died in the battle of the Alamo.

Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna

Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna was a Mexican politician and general who greatly influenced early Mexican politics and government. He served as a general and president multiple times in his 40 year career. He served as a president for 11 terms or 22 years. He was a wealthy landowner, he built a firm political base. He was a hero of the army. He was a brave soldier and a cunning politician. He was known for beating the Texans for the Alamo.

 The Mission of San Antonio de Valero in the 18th century was situated along the San Antonio River. By 1800 the missionaries were gone and their land was taken for military purposes. Occupying soldiers called the mission-turned-garrison El Alamo. Eventually the mission was renamed to The Alamo. First Spanish then Mexican soldiers occupied the Alamo. Mexico gained independence from Spain in the early 1820s. Settlers began moving towards Texas. In December of the mid 1830s, a fight for independence begun between the Texans and the Mexicans. In February of 1836 George Collinsworth and Benjamin Milam led a group to take back the Alamo. Colonel James Bowie and Colonel William B Travis prepared to defend the Alamo against the Mexicans. David Crockett arrived to help in the battle. The Texans had only 200 people to fight against the Mexicans but the Mexicans had 1800 to 6000 to fight back. The Texans held off general Santa Anna off for 13 days. On March 6th the Texans had been beaten and Santa Anna slaughtered everyone except Susannnah Dickinson and the wife of Captain Almaron Dickinson who died in battle.

      In these two screenshots i began making the building around the illusion and began the actual illusion on the right side of the second screenshot.
